G2’s Spring 2022 Votes Are In: Swell Has New Badges!

Every season when G2’s new badges come out, we feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

Why do we care so much, and more importantly, why should you? Because G2 is the only review platform that provides software searchers with totally unbiased results from vetted reviewers. No matter how big a provider’s marketing budget is, they can’t buy a higher star rating or a higher spot in G2’s search results.

As huge advocates of creating great customer experiences that earn raving reviews the honest way, nothing could make us happier than earning our spot in the list of best performers.

This quarter we’re proud to announce we received the following badges:

  • Momentum Leader
  • High Performer: Small Business Category
  • High Performer: Mid-Market Category
  • High Performer: General Category
  • Leader: Small Business Category
  • Users Love Us

What Do Those Badges Mean?

According to G2:

Momentum Leader Badge: “Products in the Leader tier in the Momentum Grid® rank in the top 25% of their category's products by their users.”

High Performer Badges: “Products in the High Performer quadrant in the Grid® Report have high customer Satisfaction scores and low Market Presence scores compared to the rest of the category.”

Leader Badge: “Products in the Leader quadrant in the Small-Business Grid® Report are rated highly by G2 users and have substantial Satisfaction and Market Presence scores.”

Users Love Us Badge: “The Users Love Us badge is earned after collecting 20 reviews with an average rating of 4.0 stars.”

Who Are We Up Against?

Since Swell is a customer engagement platform offering a lot more than just review generation, we don’t fit neatly into one of G2’s limited categories. For that reason, we compete in all these categories:

  • Online Reputation Management
  • Enterprise Feedback Management
  • Conversational Support
  • SMS Marketing
  • Live Chat

Who Submits Reviews on G2?

Not only are G2 search results totally uninfluenced by contenders’ advertising spend, there’s something unique about their voters.

Users who submit reviews on G2 are required to verify their employment with the company that uses the software they’re reviewing. The vetting process checks their email domain and other factors to ensure readers are getting unfiltered and honest feedback.

Why Are Reviews So Important?

Sometimes you need a product or software that no one you know is using. When you can’t ask a friend or peer what brands they trust, reviews are the next best thing

In many ways, reviews are a great equalizer. The biggest advertising budget in the world can’t conceal a faulty product or in this case, a software platform.

When consumers worry that reviews are being manipulated, reading reviews requires a Sherlock Holmes-level of investigation.

When users can trust reviews, they have a super fast and convenient way to vet software before making a purchase decision.

What Are Swell Customers Saying?

Although we consider ourselves trustworthy, you don’t need to take our word for it. Here are a few of our latest G2 reviews from verified Swell customers:

“Onboarding with Swell is easy and educational. The program is very user-friendly and Caleb, our integrator, guided us along in several webinars. We used to waste time emailing each client individually for our Google reviews - Now we've got Swell doing all the work for us!” - Holly W.

“We enjoyed how the widget integrated with the website, to allow for seamless communication. In addition, it also helped with local SEO and online listings, which was great to see too. Basically a great tool for anyone looking to grow their business.” - Stephen S.
